Project Reach

REACH (RE-designing Access to Cultural Heritage for a wider participation in preservation, (re-)use and management of European culture), is a three-year project started in November 2017 and funded by the EU programme for research and innovation Horizon 2020.

It is focused on the promotion of participatory approaches to culture and digitization activities for the preservation of cultural heritage. In order to offer concrete participatory experiences REACH project implements four Thematic Pilots, each one devoted to identifying successful participatory practices, lessons and to collect best practice examples among different types of cultural heritage. REACH goal is supported online by open-heritage.eu digital platform which offers a set of multidisciplinary conduits for the exchange of expertise and experience between people and institutions.

The platform is opened to the contribution of the whole community of cultural heritage and it will continue to function after the end of the project.
