In 2024, we continue the success story of the Common Good project with the new FormaRural project, which will also focus on artisans, craftsmen and local artists and activities that contribute to the preservation and promotion of local cultural heritage in three rural areas, in the area of Idrija-Cerkno in Slovenia, the municipality of Cinfães in Portugal and Târgu Frumos in Romania.
With the project, we want to expand entrepreneurial skills in local communities, as we discovered that this area experiences a shortage. With six interesting thematic workshops, which will cover everything from digital design to marketing skills and creative networking, we will enable participants to acquire knowledge and skills that will strengthen their independence and increase the visibility of their local cultural heritage. We will conclude the project during the holiday season by a fair, which will be organized by the participants themselves, giving them the opportunity to utilize the acquired skills and present and sell their products and services.
Workshops:
1. Cultural entrepreneurship, challenges, opportunities, strategies: we will explore entrepreneurial methodologies and together delve deeper into your products/services (SWOT analysis).
2. Developing digital marketing skills on social networks: getting to know digital tools and learning how to use them strategically to improve the quality of your product/service presentation.
3. Developing photography skills: getting to know the theory and practical training in using A mobile phone camera for the purpose of promoting your products/services.
4. Developing marketing skills; how to present your product: learning about basic advertising and marketing techniques for the purpose of publishing and promoting your product.
5. Opportunities and support for entrepreneurs: in-depth learning about different types of loans, support and resources that are suitable and available for rural entrepreneurs.
6. Relevance, methods for successfully expanding your network and self-management: connecting and networking to establish new partnerships and tips for better self-management.
