Borderless Pasta: The scent of limitless cuisine filled the air at Trg Evrope!

On Sunday, May 4, as part of the GO! project, Pasta at the Slovenian-Italian border, between the cities of Nova Gorica and Gorica, has hosted a unique culinary festival, Borderless Pasta, which brought together people, flavours, and cultural heritage of the two neighbouring countries.

The focus was on stuffed pasta – Idrija žlikrofi and Kranj cjarsons, which impressed with their diversity, story, and distinctive taste, and showed how diverse and yet connected the culinary heritage of these places is.

Lively events at the market!

Visitors could also taste other local delicacies that pampered their taste buds, such as Kobarid dumplings and craft beer. The event offered a real culinary market.

The event added to the football program during the day, providing additional dynamics and entertainment for the hungry guests. The evening performance of the legendary Avtomobili music group created a pleasant festival atmosphere with its rhythms.

The event attracted visitors of all generations and once again confirmed that cuisine can connect and transcend borders, both geographical and cultural.
